Product Application : Screw-in Vent

Introduction

The core sectors such as drive motors, battery packs and electronic control system of NEVs are installed on the vehicle chassis. Being exposed to external environmental, they are constantly tested by water spray, sand impact, air pressure and temperature changes. What’s worse, they are usually dense with electronic circuits, and having numerous heat sources, thus making venting products indispensable for core components of NEVs. The requirements for venting products are as follows:

  1. High IP rating;
  2. Large air permeability;
  3. High oil-proof level;
  4. Long service life.

IPRO screw-in vent is made with high WEP and high-quality direct injection molding technology to realize an IP rating of IP67, IP68 and IP69K.

The product casing is made of nylon which include ePTFE membrane, featuring heat and chemical corrosion resistance and excellent stability, and is praised by multiple OEMs and can meet common standards in terms of heat, salt fog and chemical corrosion resistance.
