Product Application : Snap-fit Vent

Introduction

With automobiles having more and more electronics, heat control and components protection are key to vehicle’s stability. Utilizing venting products is a long-term and reliable solution, for automotive power system, gearbox, axles, front and rear drive, transfer case, SCR, and other components. The requirements of the venting products used in powertrain are as follows:
 

  1. High IP rating;
  2. Large air permeability;
  3. High oil-proof level;
  4. Meet automotive grade.

IPRO snap-fit vent has two interface types: SFVA and SFVS. SFVA series correspond to the opening size of 6.4mm, while SFVS series correspond to the opening size of 10.4mm. In addition, IPRO also launched two types of heat resistant vent with the working temperature up to 120°C and 150°C to meet different application needs.

IPRO snap-fit vent is made with high WEP and precision welding technology to realize an IP rating of IP67, IP68 and IP69K; The casing is composed of PBT and ePTFE, featuring low water absorption, heat resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance, etc.
